George Tedder

After obtaining a degree in mathematics, George fell in love with fragrance and decided to leave his teaching career to study perfumery at ISIPCA, in Versailles, France. Today he is based in New Jersey, with IFF. For him, there is nothing more humbling than discovering those odors which banish sorrow, induce tranquility, or awaken the innermost emotions of the soul. Communicating with these unspoken sentiments, by lighting a candle, or spraying a fragrance, is the perfumer’s greatest pleasure; that perfume can elicit a subtle smile, a small pause, or an inaudible wow, makes the pursuit of these ephemeral ends so worthwhile.
