This open call invites artists to create a scent that responds directly to a perfume by engaging with it in a creative way. Interpretations, reinterpretations, homages, parodies, appropriations, remixes, cover versions, remakes, derivatives, knockoffs, refutations, deconstructions, sequels, prequels  are all welcome. Think about how creatives in other media like film, music, and visual art create works that engage with, respond to, or are based on, other works and then imagine a world in which scent artists do the same.

If you decide to submit your work, please drop off 10ml of the juice in a generic vial/bottle labeled with your name and the name of your piece at the gallery during opening hours. You can also mail it to

In addition to the scent, please send a short text (100 to 300 words) about which perfume you are responding to, how your scent engages with that perfume, and what motivated you to create the piece to info@olfactoryartkeller.com. Submission deadline is April 30th 2025. The selected pieces will be part of a group exhibition at Olfactory Art Keller and be sold exclusively there in an edition of one.
