Claudia Christoffel's art focuses on socio-political topics. Her works visualize aspects of feminism, climate change and economic issues. She uses a wide variety of materials including posters, photographs, drawings, smells, and installations to accomplish this. She curates an annual exhibition titled "SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL GIRL GANG" because increasing the visibility of women in art is an important concern for her. The exhibition features works on current topics by changing contemporary artists.

In 2021 Christoffel took part in the exhibition Smell it! Olfactory: Scent is Present. at the Städtische Galerie Bremen (Germany) that was curated by Dr. Ingmar Lähnemann. In this group exhibition she showed her first olfactory art works together with other artists working in scent, including Brian Goeltzenleuchter and Peter de Cupere. For her, the experience was mind-blowing and she therefore decided to integrate the olfactory aspect in her future art works.
